Wishing to transform their ordinary ranch-style lake house into an unforgettable Arts and Crafts bungalow, the Bundys turned to Pitman Construction to build their dream home. Situated on an ideal lot at Smith Mountain Lake, the architect realized the need to take advantage of the picturesque views while accommodating a steady stream of family and friends. The team effort between SmithLewis Architecture and Pitman Construction was perfect for building their year-round retreat. With many time sensitive challenges such as the removal of the entire roof to construct the second story, the renovation required a great deal of planning, organization, and team work. The result: a stunning new residence for the Bundy family.
